Campus @ Northallerton offers employers and individuals, in Hambleton and the wider North Yorkshire area, the flexibility to develop new skills to facilitate personal and business growth via a wide range of learning, skills and education routes.

There are many different types of courses available at Campus @ Northallerton, including short courses, online courses, and higher and degree apprenticeships.

Our mission

The University of Sunderland is developing an education hub to support Northallerton and the surrounding areas, which will join our top-class campuses in Sunderland, London and Hong Kong. We are proud to promote our mission to be a "Society Shaping" university, which won us the Times Higher Education University of the Year for Social Inclusion 2021 award, and we are committed to engaging with local communities in all our locations.

Our aspiration is to offer learners the freedom to learn whatever, wherever, and whenever they want. We will offer local people and businesses access to a wide range of learning opportunities right on their doorsteps. The new education hub will be launched with access to a number of our established short-course and degree apprenticeship programmes, and we will work closely with the local community and businesses to continually develop and expand the variety of training offered. It is anticipated that most teaching will be delivered via a blended format, which includes both face-to-face and on-line provision.

Short courses

Campus @ Northallerton offers a range of short courses for people who don't have the time or need for a full undergraduate or postgraduate qualification.

Opportunities will be made available for companies to enrol in tailored and bespoke closed programmes, so the apprenticeship comprises of exactly what you or your business requires, now and in the future.
